The Milwaukee Bucks enter Game 3 as four-point favorites over the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks took Game 1 of the series but Milwaukee evened the series on Friday night in dominating fashion. Milwaukee led by 40 at the end of the third quarter on the way to an easy 125-91 win.
Milwaukee entered that game as an eight-point favorite and obviously covered that with no problem. The Hawks enter Game 3 as an underdog once again. The Hawks were last a favorite ahead of 113-96 win at the New York Knicks.
The Bucks are 2-5 against the spread in the last seven games that they’ve been a road favorite. Meanwhile, Atlanta is just 1-4 against the spread in the last five games they’ve been a home underdog. That one cover came when Philadelphia beat the Hawks 103-100 on June 14.
Yahoo Sports’ Minty Bets is optimistic that the Hawks can cover the spread at home after getting blown out on the road in Game 2.
“I’m going to watch for improvements for Atlanta coming into tonight and predict them to cover but the Bucks will win Game 3 by a very small margin,” she said.
