NBA betting: Pick against the spread for Game 4 of Bucks and Hawks

Milwaukee Bucks (-6.5) at Atlanta Hawks, Total: 219.5

How healthy is Trae Young?

That question looms over the Atlanta Hawks as they attempt to even their Eastern Conference Finals Series at 2-2 with the Milwaukee Bucks. Young suffered a right ankle injury during Game 3 and ended up coming back to finish the game. But Atlanta said Monday that Young had suffered a bone bruise in his foot and was questionable for Tuesday night.

We’re expecting Young to play. Bet this game like he’s going to be in the lineup. And while we can’t rule out a monster game from him, we’re also unsure of how impacted Young will be by the injury when he’s on the court.

That bone bruise is why Milwaukee is favored by 6.5 points ahead of the game. The Bucks have been powered by Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton so far this playoffs and the two were studs again in Game 3 as Milwaukee took a 2-1 lead in Atlanta. The Bucks are 7-11 against the spread in their last 18 games as favorites.

Atlanta, meanwhile, is 11-6 against the spread in its last 17 games at home. The Hawks have done a good job of covering at State Farm Arena in recent weeks, but Yahoo Sports’ Minty Bets is going with the Bucks minus the points because of the uncertainty surrounding Young.

“The Bucks won and covered in Atlanta in Game 3 and there’s a really good chance they do it again in Game 4,” she said.

Prop bet we like: Milwaukee -1.5 in the first quarter (-120)
