Can the Suns finally cover on the road in the NBA Finals? Bettors at BetMGM think so.

Over 60% of tickets are on the Suns +5 against the Bucks on Game 6. Those 62% of wagers represent 60% of the handle — the total money wagered — on the spread Tuesday night. The line hasn’t moved since it opened.

Milwaukee covered easily in both Game 3 and Game 4 and covered as a road underdog in Game 5. That was the first game where a road team covered in the series.

Bettors are also very bullish on the under. The total is set at 222.5 after the Bucks won that Game 5 123-119. A whopping 72% of the handle is on the under with 68% of the wagers on the total to be at 222 or lower.

There’s a bit of a split on the moneyline, however. The Suns are the preferred team of small-money bettors on the moneyline with 63% of wagers. But the sharps like the Bucks as 63% of the handle is on Milwaukee to close out the series on Tuesday night. The Bucks are at -200 straight-up to win while the Suns are +170 to extend the series to seven games.

Bucks are -400 to win series

Milwaukee is an even bigger favorite to win the series because it has two chances to close out the Suns. If you don't trust Milwaukee in Game 6 for whatever reason, you can get the Bucks at -400 to win the series in either six or seven games. That's not a great bet — take your chances on Game 6 and then make a Game 7 bet if you really want to hedge Milwaukee to win the series.

Phoenix, conversely, is at +310 to win the NBA Finals. If you like Phoenix at +170 tonight, it may not be a bad idea to throw a couple dollars at an overall Finals bet given that Game 7 would be in Phoenix.

Giannis is huge MVP favorite

Giannis Antetokounmpo is now at -350 to win Finals MVP with the Bucks a win away from the title.

Antetokounmpo is far and away the Finals MVP favorite on the Bucks. The No. 2 favorite on the Bucks is Khris Middleton and his odds are at a high +2500.

Middleton is the No. 4 favorite for MVP. The Suns’ backcourt duo of Chris Paul and Devin Booker are each +600 to win MVP. The Suns will have to win on both Tuesday and Thursday for either one of them to win MVP — and Booker has been the more valuable of the two players through the first five games of the series.
