NBA Finals: Heat guard Goran Dragic returns in Game 6

Miami Heat point guard Goran Dragic made his long awaited return in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

Dragic hasn’t played since suffering a torn plantar fascia in Game 1 of the series against the Los Angeles Lakers. He was initially listed as doubtful for Game 6 before being activated in the hour prior to tipoff.

Dragic then entered the game for the first time late in the first quarter.

Dragic returns to a revitalized Heat team that won a Game 5 thriller while facing elimination. The Heat also lost Bam Adebayo to a neck strain in Game 1. Adebayo returned in Game 4, and now both players are back in the lineup on Sunday as the Heat look to force a decisive Game 7.

How much will Dragic play?

How much Dragic will be able to play is yet to be seen. He suffered a complete tear of his plantar fascia, and his ability to play depends on his pain tolerance.

Dragic has warmed up in previous games before being ruled out, but apparently felt well enough to give Sunday’s elimination game a go.
