Netflix Reveals 'The Redeem Team' Teaser Clip, Giving a Glimpse of Kobe Bryant's Mamba Mentality in Action
To gear up for one of the most highly anticipated sports documentaries of the year, Netflix has dropped a new teaser for the upcoming The Redeem Team featuring NBA superstars LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, and others.
In this particular teaser trailer, the team pinpoints the moment Bryant set the tone for the rest of them, instilling the championship mentality. Both the Spanish team and the American team were the biggest gold medal contenders at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Bryant's teammates recall what exactly Bryant did to make it known that he was not here to play around. James remembers that prior to the USA vs. Spain game, Bryant said that he would run into his NBA teammate Pau Gasol's chest. James, along with Wade, Chris Bosh, and others were skeptical of Bryant's ability to commit to knocking down Gasol to set the tone for the Olympics. However, Bryant later did just that, evidently with the Mamba Mentality kicked in.
