Netflix taps Queen of Christmas Mariah Carey to sing ahead of NFL games Dec. 25
The NFL is giving fans another gift for the holidays because the Queen of Christmas will also perform during the live Christmas Day games on Netflix, in addition to Queen Bey's highly anticipated Texans halftime show.
Netflix announced that Mariah Carey, who is fresh off a Christmas tour, will kick off the big games with a taped performance of her record-breaking hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You” for the first-ever NFL Christmas Gameday live on Netflix on Dec. 25.
Carey's taped performance will air prior to the Chiefs game against the Steelers at 1 p.m. ET and before the Ravens-Texans game, which kicks off at 4:30 p.m. ET.
Of course, Beyoncé is already set to hit the stage during the halftime show as the Ravens take on the Texans on in Houston. And fans all over are anxiously awaiting her show as it will be her first time performing songs from her eighth studio album "Cowboy Carter."
Beyoncé recently teased her performance in a snippet on Instagram, deeming it a "A Cowboy Carter Christmas."
