Welcome to our Collector Card Game Break. A little late to the game with opening The Brothers War in celebration of MTG 30th Anniversary. Oh Hasbro, what are you doing to our game. I have said this on a few occasions but I am thinking the game will cease to exist from a manufacturer standpoint, but may continue to exist on the secondary market similar to how starcraft took on a life of its own, with the die hard fans continue to play. I think with all the cards that's out there, there's definitely an ability to do this. I mean 30 years worth of cards right? Anyways, we're opening 2 set and 2 collectors boosters just to give our audience a sense of what a casual collector/player can expect. The best thing about the collector boosters.....the Transformers!! Some of my facts are definitely incorrect (ie. quicksilver is not from Tempest but rather Urza's Legacy). Collector Packs cost about $35 CAD, and Set boosters were about $5 Well I hope you like the content. Let me know what you think about the set, about the cross over and about the debacle that is Hasbro Have a great week!

Premier Danielle Smith says the government's proposed sovereignty act would not give the provincial cabinet unchecked powers to rewrite laws, while critics say the premier's signature bill would do just that. "It gives unprecedented ability to a brand new premier to overwhelm and sidestep the legislative assembly of this province and it is an attack on the democratic rights of Albertans, and through that, an attack on the stability of our economy," NDP Leader Rachel Notley said on her way into t
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says his government will wait to see how the new Alberta legislation “plays out” before deciding whether it needs to respond to it. Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Dominic LeBlanc says the law hasn’t yet been debated and passed which alone means there is no legal recourse for anyone to challenge it yet.

U.S. consumer spending increased solidly in October, while inflation moderated, giving the economy a powerful boost at the start of the fourth quarter as it faces rising headwinds from the Federal Reserve's aggressive monetary policy tightening. The labor market, the economy's other pillar of support, continues to show resilience. The number of Americans filing new claims for unemployment benefits declined last week, almost unwinding the prior week's jump, which had lifted claims to a three-month high, other data showed on Thursday.
Kayla Gallie, 21, is among hundreds of people in the Moncton area who are homeless and spending their nights trying to stay warm and survive in a tent. Plans are underway to open a new emergency shelter at the Moncton Lions Community Centre on St. George Street that will include 125 beds. In the meantime, however, the existing shelters are full and many people remain outdoors. "At this point I don't have any other options, it's sleep outside or sleep outside," Gallie said. "There's no getting in
CALGARY — Constitutional law experts say it's unlikely Ottawa will rush to fight Alberta over a proposed sovereignty bill that would give the provincial government new powers to resist what it considers federal intrusion. Eric Adams, a constitutional law expert at the University of Alberta, calls the legislation "unprecedented" and an attempt to "rewrite the basic rules of federalism." But he doesn't expect the federal government will engage. "I think the more likely scenario here is that calm a

WASHINGTON (AP) — The seditious conspiracy convictions of Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes and another leader in the far-right extremist group show that jurors are willing to hold accountable not just the rioters who stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, but those who schemed to subvert the 2020 election.
