More than 800 people walked silently in a surge of orange Monday on the Tsuut’ina First Nation near Calgary in honour of the remains of Indigenous children believed to be buried at the former Kamloops Indian Residential School. Prayers and a pipe ceremony were held on behalf of the children. The mood was sombre but there was no visible anger.
