Next Week’s ‘Game of Thrones’ Looks SO Tense According to New Photos

HBO has released official photos from Game of Thrones Season 8, Episode 2 (which still remains untitled) ahead of its broadcast this coming Sunday. The images don't say much, but like the teaser released after the premiere, they hint at the imminent battle with the Army of the Dead.

Characters like Gilly, Grey Worm, and Missandei, who didn't get much air time in the last episode, seem to have notable moments next week. We also get a glimpse of a sort of trial for Jaime Lannister upon his arrival to Winterfell, which doesn't look so promising considering the Targaryens and Starks all have something against him.

Scenes between Jon and Arya, Daenerys and Jorah, and Bran Stark and his stare also lie ahead. Scroll through to get a taste of what's next on GoT.
