As we look ahead to the colder months when you might not want to spend time grilling outdoors, there are other options you can opt for to cook the perfect grilled meal without wearing a winter jacket.
Cooking meals for large groups (or an especially large family like mine) and thinking about what to make can be time-consuming. But this extra-large sized indoor grill is an excellent option that will solve your cooking concerns so you can spend more time with your loved ones during the holidays.
Right now, you can save $30 and get the Ninja Foodi 5-in-1 Indoor Grill for $250 available through Amazon Canada. With its impressive 4.8-star rating, I knew I had to put the grill to the test to see if it's worth it. Keep reading to see if it lived up to the hype.

What is it?
With plenty of features, you can easily use this grill alone for all your cooking needs. Its unique cyclonic grilling technology and 500F rapid cyclonic air circulation lets you grill, air fry, bake/roast and dehydrate, all in one handy package. You can even transform foods from frozen to perfectly char-grilled in 25 minutes.
This extra-large grill plate has room for up to 6 steaks and up to 24 hot dogs, making it easy to prepare both mains and sides at the same time.
A digital control panel makes it easy to select your cooking function and adjust time and temperature so you can grill with confidence. Its large 4-quart capacity easily prepares meals for the entire family, and since it's an air fryer, you can use up to 75 per cent less oil than traditional deep frying.

My impressions
The grill is big enough to cook a meal for a family, and has a sleek, smart touch display that is very easy to use. There are set times and temperatures that you can follow in the guide provided which was helpful for me because I'm not an expert at cooking.
I decided to grill boneless chicken which turned out very tasty—even my family loved it. The chicken was juicy and cooked perfectly in just 10 minutes. I simply followed the preset grill times and let the display screen instructions guide me. I also loved that grill has a smoke control system that reduces smoke and keeps the air clear while cooking.
One con is that you do have to clean it often if you use it daily and since it is bulky, it is hard to clean and move around. The grill itself is also quite heavy alone.

This top-rated indoor grill has earned a 4.8 star with more than 900 customer ratings. Shoppers are loving the fact that this works just as well as an outdoor barbecue.
One shopper shared that their grilled steaks turned out "as good as any outdoor barbecue," while cook times were super fast and only needed about "4 minutes a side".
Another reviewer shared that they bought "several similar products" in the past that claimed to get the heat up to 500 degrees but "none came close. Ninja definitely does."

The verdict
I would say the grill is definitely worth its price, especially given the plethora of functions it has. You have options to cook healthy meals with the air fryer or do an indoor barbecue with the grill quickly and effectively. If you don't have time for elaborate meal prep or want to try different recipes, the 5-in-1 grill is an excellent gadget.
However, since it is pricey, it may not be suitable for everyone and you can find a cheaper option on Amazon — the downside being you will likely have to trade the size and multifunction options in the appliance.
