No one was hurt after shots were fired into a home in Pangnirtung, Nunavut, while residents, including children, were inside.
It happened around 12:15 on Sunday morning, according to RCMP.
Police found three holes in a living room window and damage to the ceiling inside when they responded to a call.
Three men, ages 19, 20 and 23, are facing charges related to recklessly discharging firearms, attempted robbery and using a firearm while committing an offence. One faces another charge for breaching probation.
Police say it's fortunate nobody was seriously hurt.
"The discharge of a firearm in a careless manner can have disastrous consequences especially when it involves a dwelling house with occupants inside," the press release reads.
All three men are being held on remand until their next court appearance on May 2.
