Asia Argento, an Italian actress who has starred in such films as XXX and Marie Antoinette, is currently in Italy working as a judge on the country’s version of “The X Factor.”

The 42-year-old shared a photo of herself and fellow judge, Italian rapper Fedez, to Instagram with the caption, “Last day of auditions in Turin. Thanks to my beloved colleagues: Manuel, Mara and Fedez. Thanks to all the staff of X Factor Italia.”

Argento included the hashtags “staying alive” and “werk” to the photo.

Instagram trolls were quick to shame Argento for sharing the photo so soon after her boyfriend of two years, acclaimed chef and television host, Anthony Bourdain, died by suicide. Some even stooped so low as to quote part of the moving statement released by Argento after the 61-year-old’s death on June 8th.

“Doesn’t look like a woman in mourning for her ‘love her rock her protector’ to me!” one person commented.

Argento was quick to reply, writing, “You want me to cover my head with ashes and whip my back? There is no right or wrong way to mourn: I have to keep going and stay alive for my children. Ok? Ok.”

Since Bourdain’s death, Argento has received a slew of hateful comments blaming her for Bourdain’s suicide.

Fans of Argento and Bourdain came to the actress’s aid by berating the trolls.

Prior to sharing the photo, Argento had been sharing images of song lyrics, bible verses and quotes about kindness.
