No tickets for Taylor Swift concert in New Orleans? Try winning them from Mississippi

Pre-sale tickets sold out in minutes for the Taylor Swift concerts coming in late October to New Orleans.

Resale tickets start at around $1,300 each and go way up from there for the best seats.

Yet there’s still hope of standing among the screaming crowd of “Swifties” when the performer takes the stage in the Superdome Oct. 25-27.

Coastal Mississippi and Visit Mississippi tourism agencies are giving away ticket packages valued at $7,000 each.

Ochsner Health is fulfilling fans’ “wildest dreams” with a raffle to benefit its cancer center, and other agencies and holding ticket raffles and sweepstakes to benefit their causes.

Here’s how to have a chance of scoring tickets:

Coastal Mississippi — Online entries are open and end Oct. 13 at 11:59 p.m. One lucky person will win a ticket package consisting of:

Two premium tickets to The Eras Tour concert at the New Orleans Superdome on Saturday, Oct. 26, valued at $7,000 each.

Two-night stay at Harrah’s Casino Resort in Biloxi, valued at $400 per night for Oct. 25-27.

Visit Mississippi — The winner of this sweepstakes will score concert tickets plus a chance to explore Mississippi and Taylor’s career. The prize includes:

Four premium concert tickets for the concert on Saturday, Oct. 26.

Four tickets to the Taylor Swift: Through The Eras exhibit at Grammy Museum Mississippi. It celebrates Swift’s 18-year career, with costumes and instruments representative of each of Taylor’s 11 eras.

A “Getaway to Cleveland, MS” package that includes a one-night hotel stay, dinner at a downtown Cleveland restaurant and $50 gift cards to McCarty’s Pottery and Peter’s Pottery.

The sweepstakes ends Oct. 5.

Ochsner Health, which is based in Louisiana and operates the hospital in Bay St. Louis and several offices in South Mississippi, is going a different direction to award tickets for the Oct 26 show. The healty system is holding a raffle that benefits the Ochsner Cancer Institute. Raffle tickets are $100 each for a chance to win two 300-level suite tickets.

The raffle will close Oct, 6 at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be determined by a random drawing and must be 21 years or older
