North American must be made 'more resilient' to supply chain issues: Champagne

Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry François-Philippe Champagne said during a press conference on supply chain disruptions in Washington, D.C. that “competition is not between Canada and the U.S., we’re talking about a global competition and how we make North America more resilient.” Champagne added that part of his job was to make sure U.S. Senators in border states understand that jobs on both sides depend on the integrated nature of supply chains.
