Northern B.C. court docket: December 4 to 8

Prince George Law Courts

Colin Michaud Durrand (born 1991) was sentenced to a year in jail for possessing an unauthorized non-firearm, possession of firearm contrary to court order, and occupying a vehicle while knowing a firearm was present. Durrand was sentenced to an additonal 827 days in jail and handed a mandatory lifetime firearms ban for possessing a loaded prohibited firearm or restricted firearm, or an unloaded prohibited firearm or restricted firearm.

He was also given 60 days in jail for wilfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer, and 30 days in jail for possessing body armour without a permit.

Eric James Reid (born 1972) was sentenced to a single day in jail and handed a 12-month probation order for breaching probation and mischief $5,000 or under.

Richard Andrew Burton (born 1980) was handed 18 months of probation and ordered to pay $403.19 in restitution for mischief $5,000 or under. Burton received a further 18 months of probation with a DNA order for breaking and entering with intent to commit an indictable offence.

Kelly Wilfred McKenzie (born 1968) was fined $1,000, handed six months of probation with a one-year driving ban, and assessed a $150 victim surcharge for driving with a suspended licence.

Michael Roger Paul (born 1962) was fined $1,500, handed a one-year criminal driving ban, and assessed a $450 victim surcharge for impaired driving.

Richard Sam (born 1967) was fined $500, handed a one-year driving ban, and assessed a $75 victim surcharge for driving with a suspended licence.

Brent Michael Guillet (born 1987) was sentenced to 310 days in jail, ordered to provide a DNA sample, and handed two years of probation with a lifetime mandatory firearms ban for aggravated assault. He was sentence to another 30 days in jail for breaching a release order.

Zackary William Isaac (born 1986) was sentenced to 49 days in jail and handed two years of probation for assault.

Deven Douglas Ouelette (born 1994) was handed 12 months of probation for possession of stolen property under $5,000.

Williams Lake Law Courts

Austin Haller (born 1997) was given 18 months of probation and handed a five-year mandatory firearms ban for assault with a weapon and possessing a firearm without licence or registration.

Chelsea Larry Jimmy Woods (born 1998) was sentenced to 45 days in jail and handed a 12-month probation order for breaking and entering with intent to commit offence. Woods was sentenced to another 15 days in jail and handed a 12-month probation order for breaching probation.

Leif Birch Myltoft (1977) was sentenced to four days in jail for breaching probation.

Craig Derek Bellam (born 1987) was sentenced to 21 days in jail and handed one year of probation for theft $5,000 or under.

Donald Orin Baker (born 1979) was sentenced to 15 days in jail and handed 18 months of probation for theft $5,000 or under. Baker was sentenced to six more days in jail and handed another 18 months of probation for a second charge of theft $5,000 or under and breach of undertaking.

Corey Dale Dacey (born 1979) was fined $1,000 and handed a one-year criminal driving ban for impaired driving.

Adam David Tibetts (born 1982) was sentenced to five days in jail and handed a one-year probation order for breaching probation.

Dawson Creek Law Courts

Adrian Harold Meck (born 1986) was handed a three-month conditional sentence for breaching a release order, and a nine-month conditional sentence for possession of stolen property under $5,000 and possessing a firearm without a licence or registration.

Meck was further handed a six-month conditional sentence for possession of stolen property, and given a two-year criminal driving ban with a six-month conditional sentence for dangerous operation of a conveyance.

Mark Roth (born 1975) was sentenced to 14 days in jail for breaching probation and breaching a release order, and handed an 18-month probation order for uttering threats. Roth was sentenced to 13 days in jail, ordered to provide a DNA sample, and handed 12 months of probation for breaking and entering. He was sentenced to an additional 21 days in jail for breaching another release order.

Roth was further sentenced to 90 days in jail and handed a 12-month probation order for breaking and entering with intent to commit offence. A 180-day jail sentence with a 12-month probation order was handed to Roth for a third breaking and entering charge. Roth was also fined $800, ordered to pay a $120 victim surcharge and handed a one-year driving ban for driving while prohibited.

Travis Jay Tarry (born 1990) was fined $600, and handed a one-year criminal driving ban for dangerous operation of a conveyance.

100 Mile House Law Courts

Alan Dale Engstrom (born 1964) was given 12 months of probation for theft $5,000 or under.

Daryn Paul Rogers-Tillstone (born 1962) was fined $1,000, handed a one-year driving ban, and assessed a $150 victim surcharge for driving with a suspended licence.

Fort St. John Law Courts

Curtis Wade Auger (born 1978) was fined $1,000 and handed a one-year criminal driving ban for impaired driving.

Ryan Joseph Christensen (born 1977) was fined $300 and assessed a $45 victim surcharge for parking or leaving a vehicle on a road.

Smithers Law Courts

Kenneth Percy McDougall (born 1969) was fined $750, handed a one-year driving ban, and assessed a $112.50 victim surcharge for driving with a suspended licence.

Vanderhoof Law Courts

Jamie Alden Voth (born 1982) was sentenced to 18 months of probation for disobeying a court order.

Michelle Lee Baptiste (born 1982) was handed 12 months of probation for breach of undertaking.
