Nova Scotian rescues 18 dogs as wildfire spreads rapidly near Halifax
When Lisa Parsons was told she couldn’t return to her doggy daycare to evacuate 18 dogs, she took matters into her own hands.
With cuts on her legs to prove it, she ran around a road block through thick bushes to get to the Pampered Paws Inn. There, she was able to negotiate the escorted evacuation of the dogs with the wildfire threat looming.
She shares her incredible story exclusively to The Weather Network in the video above.
