Olympia police are looking for a bank robbery suspect. Have you seen him?

A west Olympia bank branch was robbed last week and the suspect is still at large, according to police.

About 4:35 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, the man entered Umpqua Bank in the 2800 block of Harrison Avenue Northwest.

Minutes later, bank employees called 911 to report they had been robbed, said Olympia police Lt. Paul Lower.

The suspect presented a note to a bank teller that demanded money and the employee complied, he said.

The man, last seen headed toward Limited Lane Northwest, was wearing a dark-colored hoodie over a baseball cap. He also had a backpack and was wearing a COVID-19 mask.

Police and K9 teams searched the area, including other businesses, but were unsuccessful, Lower said.
