The Washington State Patrol is looking for a hit-and-run driver who sent two people to the hospital Friday afternoon.

About 5:15 p.m., an unidentified driver was headed west on state Route 8, approaching McCleary in Grays Harbor County, according to State Patrol.

A second driver from McCleary was headed in the same direction, while an Olympia driver was headed east.

Troopers say the unidentified driver changed lanes and crashed into the McCleary driver, who then lost control and crashed into the Olympia driver.

The 65-year-old McCleary man and the 63-year-old Olympia woman were hurt and taken to Summit Pacific Medical Center in Elma.

The unidentified driver, who continued to drive west, faces hit and run and failure to yield charges, according to the State Patrol. However, Trooper Katherine Weatherwax said Sunday the driver is still at large.
