One dead in shooting on North Main Street early Sunday, Fort Worth police say

One person is dead after a shooting at an Arlington nightclub Sunday.

One person was killed in a shooting on North Main Street early Sunday, Nov. 17, Fort Worth police said in a statement.

Northwest division officers responded to the homicide scene in the 3600 block of North Main Street and found a victim with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body, according to the statement.

A 911 call log shows police were called about 6 a.m. to the Ranch Motel, at 3620 N. Main St., where the victim was reportedly shot in a motel room.

Medical personnel attempted to resuscitate the victim, but the person was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting, police said.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the victim once family has been notified.
