One dead, two injured in Stettler rollover
A young man from Stettler is dead and two teens from the town are in hospital after a single-vehicle rollover on the weekend.
Police say the crash happened at half-past midnight on Highway 12 in the town of Stettler.
The 20-year-old driver of a pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene. Two 18 year olds were transported to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
One injured teen was taken to Stettler Hospital via ground ambulance; the other was flown to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton.
The cause of the rollover remains under investigation. Police say speed was likely a factor.
