One found dead in overturned vehicle at Lake Worth on Saturday, police say

The man, who had been shot three times while driving, drove himself to a Texaco gas station to wait for first responders, police said.

A 17-year-old boy was found dead in his overturned vehicle early Saturday at Lake Worth, officials with the Fort Worth Police Department said.

Police and medical personnel responded to the 8600 block of Heron Drive at around 8 a.m. Saturday after receiving a report of a flipped vehicle in the trees and water near the area, officials said.

The boy, identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office as Aidan Lee Caraway, was the only person in the vehicle, police said.

Officials could not immediately determine the cause of the accident, and traffic investigators with the Fort Worth Police Department have been notified, according to a statement.
