One injured in explosions in Kharkiv after Russia targets transportation infrastructure - Mayor Terekhov


At least one person was injured after Russia targeted a transportation infrastructure facility in Kharkiv on the morning of May 21, Kharkiv Mayor, Ihor Terekhov, reported on Telegram.

Terekhov had earlier reported an explosion in Kharkiv.

Explosions were also heard overnight in Kharkiv, causing fires across the city, Terekhov had reported earlier.

Russia's May 20 attack on Kharkiv left four people injured, Terekhov confirmed.

The Ukrainian Air Force had issued warnings about increased activity of Russian tactical aviation in the Azov Sea region and in the east, noting an increased threat of aerial attacks.
