One injured in shooting near north Fort Worth fire station Saturday night

Three teenage suspects who planned a drive-by shooting targeted the wrong house and killed a stranger, according to North Richland Hills police.

One person was injured in a shooting near a north Fort Worth fire station Saturday night, officials said.

Officers responded to a shooting call outside Fire Station 31 on Longstraw Drive, just west of N. Beach Street, at around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, according to an online incident report.

A 30-year-old man had been shot and was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Officers recovered two Hornady 5.56 casings from the scene, according to the report.

No arrests have been announced in connection to the shooting.
