Woman riding scooter killed in Alhambra Boulevard collision in East Sacramento, police say

A woman riding a scooter was killed Thursday after a vehicle collision in East Sacramento, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

Officers were called about 10:30 a.m. to the 1200 block of Alhambra Boulevard, said Sgt. Dan Wiseman, a spokesman for the Police Department. The crash happened at the intersection with Folsom Boulevard.

The cause behind the collision is under investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Police Department at 916-808-5471.
