One Show's Alex Jones cringes at Matt Baker's "rude"-sounding question
We're used to Matt Baker channelling his inner Partridge, but we don't often expect The One Show's 'A-ha!' moments to come from Alex Jones.
Well, believe it or not, that's what happened during yesterday's (March 21) episode, as Matt Baker questioned his fellow Blue Peter alum Valerie Singleton about her badges.
That's badges.
As Matt and Valerie reminisced on their Blue Peter careers, Matt innocently wondered aloud: "Where do you keep your badge?"

Putting her hand to her mouth, Alex interjected. "It sounds so rude," she gasped, before Matt shut down any further silliness by telling her to stop it.
"I've got a lovely big board with lots of badges on it, and they're absolutely prime place," Valerie responded, while Alex tried her best to stifle any giggles. Magic.
Elsewhere in weird and wonderful One Show news, Matt Baker recently amused viewers with a (literally) fatal misunderstanding over Mary J Blige's mum. What else?
As the singer-songwriter opened up about seeing her mum as her "hero", Matt jumped in to ask "how much" of Mary's success and stardom her mum had got to experience before she seemingly passed away.
"All of it," a puzzled Mary J replied. "She's [still] here!"
