The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Leamington Detachment is investigating a fatal collision involving a pedestrian.

An 86-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Erie Street South at Mill Street in Leamington on Thursday.

First responders took the woman to hospital where she was pronounced dead.

West Region Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) Team members are conducting an investigation and are asking anyone with relevant information to get in touch with police.
