OPP search for white vehicle that cut off motorcyclist on Highway 417, causing crash

Ontario Provincial Police are looking for the driver of a white vehicle that cut off a motorcyclist on Highway 417 Thursday night, causing a crash.

It happened on the highway's eastbound lanes, near the Eagleson Road overpass, at about 7 p.m.

A white vehicle, possibly an SUV, cut off an eastbound motorcycle, OPP said in a media release issued Thursday.

"As a result, the motorcyclist lost control and was thrown from his motorcycle where he landed in the south ditch," OPP said.

The white vehicle continued east without stopping.

The 44-year-old man driving the motorcycle was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
