New Orleans Football Player, Bystanders Overturn Car That Fell From Garage
A crowd of bystanders and a New Orleans Saints football player overturned a car that fell from a parking garage in New Orleans, Louisiana, during the afternoon of July 15.
The driver was pinned from the weight of the car and sustained injuries, though details of the man’s condition were not available by July 16. The cause of the crash was also listed as being unknown.
Mitchell Loewen, a defensive lineman for the Saints, told the Times-Picayune that he and his family were having brunch when they heard the car fall. Loewen and at least 10 people worked together to push the Mercedes Benz SUV upright and waited with the man until paramedics arrived.
