Oromocto High School classes delayed

Toddler's 'suspicious' death leads to arrest 11 years later

The start of classes at Oromocto High School on Tuesday is delayed until 10:30 a.m..

Anglophone West School District Superintendant David McTimoney said a message was found in a washroom on Monday "that could be interpreted as threatening in nature."

"The incident is currently being investigated by the RCMP and school administration. Incidents such as these are taken seriously and need to be investigated throughly," said McTimoney in an email to CBC News.

The school will open at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with classes starting at 10:30 a.m.

Class times will be shortened to allow for all classes to be held Tuesday and for school to be dismissed at the regular time.

McTimoney said the school expects business as usual on Wednesday.
