Oshawa man charged with alleged sexual assaults of two young girls

OSHAWA, Ont. — Police say a man has been arrested after two underage girls were allegedly sexually assaulted decades ago in Oshawa, Ont.

Durham Regional police say two victims came forward to police alleging they were sexually assaulted between 1984 and 2003.

Police spokesman Const. George Tudos says the alleged incidents occurred at a residence in Oshawa.

Tudos says the victims and accused know each other, but he declined to provide details on their relationship.

He says a 46-year-old Oshawa man was arrested earlier this week and he was charged with exposing himself to a person under the age of 16, gross indecency and two counts of sexual assault.
