We have a sunny, warm autumn day on tap for Wednesday in Ottawa-Gatineau.

The forecast calls for sunny skies with a few clouds mixed in and an east wind at 20 kilometres per hour late in the morning.

The high is set to reach 21 C with a moderate UV index of 5.

Tonight should be partly cloudy with that same east wind at 20 km/h and a low of 9 C.

The back half of the week, the final one of September, starts with a mix of sun and cloud on Thursday and a northeast wind at 20 km/h. The high should hit 19 C.

Friday looks to be almost identical with a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 19 C. The overnight lows on Thursday and Friday are also identical at 11 C.

October begins with little temperature fluctuation. Saturday's high is so far expected to hit 15 C with a 30 per cent chance of showers.

Sunday should bring a mix of sun and cloud with a 40 per cent chance of showers with a high of 19 C.
