Overnight fire damages Mississauga business complex
An overnight fire caused major damage to a commercial complex on Mississauga Road, just south of the 401.
Several of the businesses in the complex, which includes restaurants, a hotel, and numerous retailers, sustained significant damage in the fire. Firefighters and police were called to the complex at 6535 Mississauga Road.
It's unclear what caused the blaze, which broke out around 1 a.m. Saturday. The fire marshal's office is expected to investigate, but a spokesman for Mississauga fire services had no information about when that might happen.
A fire spokesman said he did not know if there were any any injuries reported.
