Ozzy Osbourne vows to get back on stage even 'if it f***ing kills me' after fall

Ozzy Osbourne is determined to go back on tour, three years after a fall aggravated spinal injuries and almost left him completely paralysed.
The 73-year-old rocker told The Sun he will go back on the road "if it f***ing kills me", in the wake of his surprise performance at the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony in Birmingham.

Osbourne fell in 2019 while using the bathroom in the night at his mansion in LA, which caused neck injuries from a previous quad bike accident to resurface.
He has spent the last three years undergoing multiple surgeries, progressing from a point at which doctors suggested he could be paralysed for the rest of his life.
“Never have I been laid up so bad for so long," said the Black Sabbath star, who was also diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019.
He added: “It’s been breaking Sharon’s heart to see me like this but I will get back on tour if it f***ing kills me.”
Fans were thrilled by Osbourne's return at the Commonwealth Games, in which he sang Sabbath track Paranoid while accompanied by guitarist Tony Iommi.

"Standing on stage in Birmingham, my home town, playing live, it doesn’t get any better than that," said Osbourne.
He is determined that his brief recent return to the stage will not be his last, while he has also been in the studio again as music kept him going throughout his turbulent few years.
Osbourne said: "I’m a f****ing animal. You can get hold of me and work me as much as you like. I want to wake up and jump out of bed.”
But with a work ethic like that, support is important. For Osbourne, that comes from his family — including wife Sharon and his children.

"Thank God for Sharon and the kids and for so many people in the business. I can’t begin to tell you how grateful I am," said Osbourne.
Ozzy and Sharon celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary this year, with the rocker sharing a romantic throwback picture of the couple on their big day.
