Top Gear star Paddy McGuinness has, like many of us, been looking after his kids and trying to keep them entertained during the coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown.

One of the ways he tried to keep them from being bored was through letting them dye his hair various novel shades. The results are... definitely interesting.

The presenter shared a photo of himself with some pink-red and blue-purple patches in his hair, which give a rather artful look to his normal do.

"I think I preferred the grey?" he wrote, adding "#thisbettercomeout".

Whether he's going to turn into a trendsetter amongst fellow parents entertaining their children at home, well, we're not quite so sure it will take off.

Before the lockdown was put in place in mid-March, Paddy appeared on the BBC's The One Show and within seconds of going live, he kicked the table and then pulled a piece of plastic off it.

Apparently it had broken before and had been stuck back together with sellotape, and some fans thought that maybe it was a sign the table should be replaced completely.

Paddy, along with Freddie Flintoff, joined the Top Gear presenting team after Matt LeBlanc left, and we thought that they made quite a good line-up, actually. It'll never be what it was during the Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May days, but we'd recommend giving them a go if you're looking for something to watch.

In less good news though, ITV announced back in February that Take Me Out had been axed after 10 years of Paddy saying 'let the (blank) see the (blank)' and men showing off their absolutely dreadful dance moves to unimpressed women.
