Pancakes postponed: 12th annual St. John's breakfasts being rescheduled

The St. John's events for the 12th annual CBC Community Pancake Breakfast for Housing and Homelessness have been postponed due to an incoming winter storm.

A live broadcast of The St. John's Morning Show scheduled at the Bella Vista for Tuesday morning has been postponed a day, along with all other affiliated breakfasts in St. John's.

The Morning Show's broadcast will now happen on Wednesday morning.

Dave Murphy, with the Housing and Homelessness Network, said the goal is to reschedule the breakfast for the same date at all of the locations.

"This is the 12th annual and this will be the second time this has happened to us, but we'll make do and we'll make other arrangements," he said earlier Monday.

In Marystown, the pancake breakfast at St. Gabriel's Hall will now be held on Thursday.
