Parents spend £15,000 every YEAR trying to turn eight-year-old son into A-list celebrity

The parents of an eight-year-old boy are spending thousands of pounds every year in an attempt to turn him into a major star.

Steffan and Hayley Liang want their son Theodore to become an A-list celebrity and are splashing out a staggering £15,000 every year to make it happen.

The family are building Theo’s ‘brand’ as an actor and dancer by paying for him to attend an array of classes after school and during the weekends.

He is also planning to launch his own fashion line next year, with his busy schedule costing more than £1,300-a-month.

Dad Steffan, 33, also once had aspirations to be famous, but now encourages Theo to take drama, dance and acting classes in his bid to become a star.

The boy’s fashion line, is set to be launched in 2017 alongside his music, acting and dance career.

Steffan, who is now separated from Hayley, said: “Theo has grown up exceeding expectations in all areas, particularly performing arts, social media, design, film and modelling.

"His ability to relate to modern media and emerging marketing opportunities, has given way to his fashion line, his music, acting, YouTube and dance career.

"He has also shown a very keen interest in the above areas, I feel slightly vicarious as I also attended drama school and had aspirations of being famous.”

He added: “I would like to fully launch his modelling career next spring, predominantly focusing on his brand.

"We already have product placement opportunities scheduled in 2017 film and music projects.”

The family rely on both sets of grandparents to help pay for Theo’s classes, and Steffan said “every last penny” is dedicated to the youngster’s success.

The entrepreneurial dad insists the hard work will eventually pay off.

He said: "We push him, but it will all be worth it in the end.”
