Paris Jackson doesn’t understand what all the fuss is about regarding her sexuality.
Michael Jackson’s 20-year-old daughter made headlines over the weekend after seemingly coming out when interacting with fans on Instagram. When one person asked Jackson if she’s bisexual, she responded, “That’s what you guys call it, so I guess, but who needs labels?”
After her answer started making the rounds, dozens of articles picked it up with headlines like, “Paris Jackson reveals she’s bisexual during fan Q&A.” However, the model and actress took issue with stories declaring this was breaking news. Jackson wrote on her Instagram story, “I came out when I was 14.”
In another post on her Instagram Story, Jackson added, “And I’m not bisexual. I just love people for people. I don’t label myself, so please don’t label me.”
She also took to Twitter, writing, “i’ve been caught kissing girls in public. this is not news…”
how many times have i publicly referred to the community as “my fellow LGBTQ+”? like even on stage. i’ve been apart of the community for years. i even mentioned having crushes on girls when i was 8 in a magazine before. i’ve been caught kissing girls in public. this is not news… https://t.co/u9TLxE2c2x

Jackson was most recently linked to model Cara Delevingne.
Although the women have been photographed kissing and holding hands, they have never commented on the status of their relationship.
This is the most candid Jackson has been, publicly, when addressing her sexuality. Still, she feels it’s a slow-news day if anyone’s paying attention to this. She retweeted the following messages on Twitter.
remember when your father joked with you saying “oh, you have a girlfriend!”, you were raised with an open mind and that’s the best thing in the world, I love you so much

Slow news day? I keep seeing headlines about @ParisJackson’s sexuality. However, if you followed her or just did any research this isn’t new. She’s been open about it for years & has been photographed with men and women. Outlets need to do some quick research before posting.
