Pasco bike rider seriously injured after pickup hits him. The driver did not stop, police say
Pasco police are looking for the driver of a white pickup who hit a bicycle rider Friday evening and then drove away.
The man riding a blue bike was conscious, according to initial reports from the scene of the crash, but was seriously hurt.
He was taken to a hospital by ambulance. His name has not been made public.
He was hit on the west side of North 20th Avenue near the Court Street Plaza that includes Albertsons. The pickup driver left going south.
Twentieth Avenue was closed between West Court and West Marie streets Friday night as police collected evidence for their hit-and-run investigation.
