Patriots' Julian Edelman underwent shoulder procedure, not expected to miss offseason program

New England Patriots receiver Julian Edeman was a regular on the team’s injury report this season, so it’s not a surprise that he needed at least one surgery once it ended.

Via multiple reports, the veteran underwent a shoulder procedure last week. However, it is not expected to require a lengthy rehab, and Edelman should be ready for the team’s offseason program.

The 33-year-old played in all 16 regular-season games, with 100 catches for 1,117 yards and six touchdowns. He also had eight carries for 27 yards.

Edelman was arrested in Beverly Hills earlier this month after jumping onto the hood of a car that wasn’t his. He was cited for misdemeanor vandalism.
