Paul Bettany Kisses 'Extraordinary' Wife Jennifer Connelly After She Runs N.Y.C. Marathon: 'Best Cheer Squad'

Jennifer Connelly got a sweet congratulations upon finishing the New York City Marathon.
After running the annual race on Sunday, Nov. 3, the Oscar winner, 53, was praised by her husband and fellow actor, Paul Bettany.
The Wandavision star, 53, shared a collection of photos from the race, including one of himself planting a kiss on his wife after she finished the 26.2-mile course, plus some snapshots of their 13-year-old daughter Agnes.
"Congratulations to my extraordinary Spartan wife!" Bettany wrote. "She realized her dream and raised a ton of money for cancer research."
"Thanks also to lovely family and friends who came out to cheer her on. #fredsteam #memorialsloanekettering #nycmarathon," he concluded.

Connelly made her own post with assorted photos from the event, thanking "everyone who made this such an amazing day" in her caption. Among the famous faces in her snapshots were Claire Holt, Tayshia Adams and Chelsea Clinton.
The Labyrinth actress expressed her gratitude specifically for "the new friends I made before the race, the incredible crowd that supported us all the way, the volunteers and organizers who made it possible, and my family — the best cheer squad ever."
"Congrats to all the runners, and special shout out to everyone who donated to @fredsteammskcc. I love NY!!!!! @nycmarathon @nyrr," Connelly concluded.

Connelly and Bettany met while filming A Beautiful Mind in 2001, though they didn't begin dating until after the shoot. Since then, the pair have been inseparable. They wed over the 2002 holiday season and share daughter Agnes plus son Stellan, 21, and raised Connelly's son Kai, 27, together.
The couple have worked together on several projects since A Beautiful Mind, including Shelter (2015). They've also both appeared in Marvel Cinematic Universe films — Bettany was the voice behind Iron Man's J.A.R.V.I.S. and later starred as Vision, while Connelly played a small role in Spider-Man: Homecoming as Peter Parker's AI assistant Karen.
While relatively private, Bettany and Connelly have been known to praise one another and share family photos to social media on occasion.
Back in February, the actress posted a photo on Instagram of the spouses in a sunny locale, which she captioned, "Happy Valentine’s Day to my love @paulbettany."
