Paul Dubois is Windsor's 2015 Bicycle Commuter of the Year.

Dubois bikes to work from Tecumseh to Chrysler's Windsor Assembly Plant.

In 2014, he biked to work on 215 days. So far this year, he's biked to work 115 times.

He was nominated by his wife and 16 others.

He bikes about 30 minutes from Manning Road to work.

"It doesn't matter the weather," Dubois said. "The last couple winters the weather's been cold and snowy."

His route is a simple one.

"I travel straight down Tecumseh Road so needless to say I have my fair share of adventures going down Tecumseh Road," he said.

As commute of the year, Dubois will receive a prize package of commuter-related gear from the City Cyclery in Old Walkerville.

"We're looking for someone who really integrates active transit into their daily life," said Chris Waters, chair of the Windsor Bicycling Committee.

Waters announced Dubois as the winner on CBC Windsor Morning with host Tony Doucette.
