Pedestrian fatally struck by train Saturday southeast of downtown Fort Worth, officials say

A man was fatally struck by a train southeast of downtown Fort Worth on Saturday, Jan. 11, police said.

Officers responded to 1734 E. El Paso St. shortly after noon for an investigation call. They found a pedestrian who had been struck by a train, police said. The victim died at the scene from his injuries.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner has not yet publicly identified the victim.
