After beginning the season unranked, Penn State sits on the doorstep of the top 10 in this week’s AP Top 25 poll.

The Nittany Lions moved up three spots to No. 11 after their 33-14 victory over Central Michigan. Penn State is 4-0 after finishing the nonconference portion of the schedule and will face Northwestern at home on Saturday. The game is set for 3:30 p.m. and will air on ESPN.

The top five teams remained unchanged in the rankings, while Oklahoma took the biggest plunge. The Sooners fell 12 spots to No. 18 after losing to Kansas State.
