In an Idaho Statesman poll, Boise residents reported hazards on the Greenbelt ranging from speeding bikers to absent pedestrians to tree roots creating bumps in the asphalt.

Road cycles, e-bikes, e-scooters zip down the Greenbelt in growing numbers, and at increasing speeds, spurring Ada County Commissioners to change county code

Violators can be charged a fine, may be charged with up to a misdemeanor, and could be held liable for any damages.
