Philippines Trade Chief Quits to Return to Private Sector

(Bloomberg) -- Philippine Trade Secretary Alfredo Pascual has resigned and will return to the private sector, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s communications office said in a statement Wednesday.

Marcos accepted Pascual’s resignation, and the search for his successor will start immediately, according to the statement.
