Steven Seagal

Steven Seagal, 65, faces new sexual misconduct claims from actresses Jenny McCarthy, Portia de Rossi, Julianna Margulies, Lisa Guerrero and Eva LaRue. On November 9, McCarthy spoke about her alleged 1995 incident with the actor on SiriusXM, where she said Seagal asked her to expose her breasts during a movie audition. On November 8, de Rossi accused Seagal of allegedly unzipping his leather pants during a film audition. Margulies spoke to SiriusXM on November 4 about an alleged encounter when she was 23 (she’s 51 now) where she claims the actor invited her over to his hotel room late at night through a female casting director, who said she would be there. Margulies claims the woman wasn’t there when she arrived and Seagal allegedly said he wanted to massage her. Guerrero claims she was repeatedly pressured to audition alone with Seagal in the 1990s and allegedly opened the door to his house only wearing a silk robe before reportedly inviting her to his dressing room. LaRue alleges Seagal tried to do a reading with her while wearing a kimono and only underwear underneath. A representative for Seagal has previously denied McCarthy’s claims but there has been no new response to the recent string of allegations. Photo from Getty Images.

PHOTOS: High-profile stars facing sexual misconduct allegations

The sexual harassment claims involving some of the biggest names in entertainment are mounting as more and more people are speaking out.

The allegations are sending shockwaves across social media, where the #MeToo campaign has made headlines worldwide.

If it seems like there’s a new revelation every day, it’s probably because there is one. Not all of them include famous movie actors and producers, but that’s where the tidal wave began.

Since accusations were levied against powerful film executive Harvey Weinstein in October 2017, scores of women and some men have come forward with claims of their own.

This photo gallery details the claims and responses of those facing sexual assault accusations in the past month, including Weinstein, Ben Affleck, James Toback, Kevin Spacey, Dustin Hoffman, Jeremy Piven, Brett Ratner, George Takei, Ed Westwick, Steven Seagal, Louis C.K., Jeffrey Tambor, Sylvester Stallone, Al Franken, Ryan Seacrest, Russell Simmons, Charlie Rose and Nick Carter.

This article only mentions allegations made against high-profile personalities in the entertainment industry, and does not mention others who have been accused of sexual misconduct since the #MeToo campaign went viral last month.

None of the allegations made against any of these figures have been proven in court. In some cases, the claims being made are being investigated by law enforcement.
