Paris, La Tour Bois-Le-Pretre
This modern apartment block was transformed from a run-down cement tower block in northern Paris (see next slide). Designed by Druot, Lacaton and Vassal.

The project represented an “alternative approach to the physical and social redevelopment of decaying post-war housing”. Designed by Druot, Lacaton and Vassal.

The residential location consists of two 37 story towers located in Mumbai, India. The Aquaria Grande Tower will feature several different amenities including a car park, fully equipped clubhouse, and a sustainable podium garden.

At Rank 18, is perhaps the most-talked about buildings in recent times. Antilia (pictured) is the 27-floor personal home in South Mumbai belonging to businessman Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries. According to some media reports, a full-time staff of 600 maintains the residence, reportedly the most expensive home in the world. The building is named after the mythical Atlantic island of Antillia.

The Antilia building is situated on an ocean-facing 4,532 square metres (48,780 sq ft) plot at Altamount Road, Cumballa Hill, South Mumbai.

Belfast, Metropolitan Arts Centre
The Metropolitan Arts Centre is wedged between two existing buildings beside the cathedral. The glazed tower sits atop the volcanic stone facade of the performing arts centre to create a beacon above the surrounding rooftops.

The concept of The Indra Tower, is emerged from capturing the fluid state of which a single drop of water is freely dropping into water. Located in Dadar, Mumbai, the residential tower stands 300m tall. The total built up area (BUA) is 34,000.00sqm.

Perched above Queen Elizabeth Hall at London’s Southbank Centre, the boat-shaped one bedroom installation provides guests a place of reflection amid the flow of traffic surrounding its iconic location. Designed by David Kohn Architects in collaboration with artist Fiona Banner.
