Are you brave enough to 'Step into the Void'?

Does the CN Tower's glass floor leave your heart racing? Chamonix Mont-Blanc, in the French Alps, takes the thrill one step further with an entire room made of glass.

The "Step into the Void" installation is a five-sided glass structure on the top terrace of the Aiguille du Midi mountain, with a 1,035-metre drop below. Visitors can step out from the terrace to get the impression of standing in a void. Each pane of glass is 12 millimetres thick and the structure can handle winds of up to 220 km/h, according to the Chamonix website. The attraction opens to the public on December 21, 2013. (Reuters)
