Don't tread here: The world's most polluted bodies of water

Lake Ontario and Lake Erie may not be the cleanest bodies of water to swim in but it's hard to imagine Canadians complaining if they had to use water from India, Russia, or even the U.S. Canadian waters are squeaky clean when compared to those that look more like trash dumps than rivers, waters that have the same acidity as stomach acid, and those that are so radioactive that being on shore for an hour can kill human beings.
