Flooding in Jakarta prompts thousands to flee
The Indonesian capital of Jakarta has declared a state of emergency as flood waters continue to rise and force thousands to flee from their homes. So far, three people have died as a result of the intense flooding, and the state of emergency will continue to at least January 27, when the monsoon rains are expected to subside.
